Hi guys,
Is it possible to easily remove/install the carburettor without taking off the airbox? How?
Thanks,
Mara

Re: DR 650 carburettor removal?
Remove the rubber-connector to the engine side. There are two screws. With some force it will work. But putting him back again you have to loose the airbox at least. Though removeing the airbox is the easiest way as you need only to push it back.

I think what Lars is trying to say is: you don't have to remove the airbox from the frame. Just take out the bolts that hold it and push it back to give you enough space to work.
Correct me if I'm wrong, Lars.

Re: DR 650 carburettor removal?
Thanks guys. I managed to remove and install it just by loosening the airbox and removing the clamps from the intake and exhaust rubbers. That made the rubber more soft and easy to work with.
