Hallo Carlo, welcome to forum,
sometimes people do it the other way round. Put a different tank on the Big.
As the Big probably has a wider frame, you could do it with some selfmade brackets. But than you need a fuel pump and the fairing wouldn`t fit.
Why are you considering this, tank capacity or optical reasons?

Nice webpage,
the DR Big double tanks are probably heavier. I think the older DR Big model has a single tank which might also fit. To balance the weight you could fit some rear tanks.
On the other hand it might be easier to change for a Big, which is more a Rally bike from start (longer wheel base, stronger engine).
